Thank you for visiting our site. My name is Katy, along with my Husband Eric, Daughters; Josey, Stevie and Frankie. I have been in the Yampa Valley since 2006. Originally from Lawrence Kansas. I had always dreamed of moving to the mountains. That finally happened in the fall of 2006 when I moved and fell in love with Steamboat Springs Colorado. I met my Husband here and started a family.
When our first daughter was born we traveled a lot her first year. We took a big vacation and couldn't believe the amount of baby gear we brought for her. After hours of travel there and back, our stroller barely survived. We were exhausted from hauling so much gear. I thought to myself; there has to be baby gear that can be rented out to traveling families. The months passed, vacations came and went and I still had that thought on my mind. After a random encounter with a friend and old coworker who had started a baby gear rental company just south of here. I told her what a great idea it was and mentioned Steamboat would be a great place to start one. She agreed and after lots of texts, phone calls and emails. Yampa Valley Baby Gear Rentals was started!
